Our Commitment to Safety

Guiding Priorities

Safety is our top priority on all of our guided tours. Our guides operate based on the following priorities:

  1. Safety
  2. Guest Comfort
  3. Quality Guiding
  4. Efficiency

Group Size & Safety Management

Our tours are designed to be conducted safely in small groups. For cycling tours, one guide typically manages up to 6–7 guests. If there are more than 7 guests, the group will be divided into smaller groups.
*This may vary depending on family groups or specific arrangements.

As many of Hagi’s roads are narrow, large groups can inconvenience other visitors and affect local traffic. We are committed to operating tours that are safe, comfortable, and respectful—not only for our guests, but also for other visitors and the local community.

First Aid & Emergency Training

Your safety is our top priority. All Discover HAGI Tours guides are trained in basic life-saving skills.

With the support of the local fire department, we conduct annual emergency response training covering CPR, heatstroke, bleeding control, and allergic reactions. Both new and experienced guides participate regularly to keep their knowledge and skills up to date.

This ensures that every guide is prepared to respond quickly and appropriately in an emergency, so you can relax and fully enjoy your tour.
